According to the American Sleep Apnea Association, using CPAP (Continued Positive Air Pressure) therapy is the most effective way to treat sleep apnea. The most common symptom is when you periodically stop breathing or experience shallow or infrequent breathing during sleep. Continued loss of sleep can affect existing medical conditions such as high blood pressure, and diabetes or increase risk for their development.
