As the sirens whaled, Detective Edens spoke to the scanner, “We’ve got a possible murder at The Glendale Community College. We still need to do further investigation, but the body seems to be a middle-aged man.” We could see the body in the distance. The murders began near Santa Monica in Los Angeles, they then started to spread out towards Glendale. Over twenty deaths every month. All of which ranged from the ages of twenty to forty-seven. They all had one thing in common. They were all branded with a letter. Edens and I got out of the car. There was the body. Sitting right in the middle of the field. Meyers smiled at me and began to guide me to the morgue. Then, she told me what happened to him. “Colton was murdered just three days before the body was found. He was cut with an incision knife.” Dr. Meyers paused. “All of his organs were ripped out, but inside the body we found something. I’ll be back.” She walked into her office and came out with a small, plastic bag. “A flash drive.” She said as she pulled it out of the bag. “I already know what’s on it, but it’s better for you to watch it rather than I explain it.” I grabbed the flash drive and plugged it into the computer in Dr. Meyers office. The computer went pitch black. I waited about ten seconds before I decided that it wasn’t going to show anything. I tried closing out of the video, but it wouldn’t let me. “What’s going on Dr. Meyers?” I asked. “Just wait.” She said. The video began to play. It was dark. There was a man in a hoodie and another man in the chair. The hooded man cut the back of the other men back and then continued to brand him on the neck. The video them began to glitch and the computer shut off. During the video, all I could hear were the screams of the poor man. I assume it’s Colton, the way he was Branded shows
