Dear Jury Members: David Eldridge should be found guilty of the crime of killing Mr. Armes because of the reasonable doubt that exists. Surely, the defense will say that David Eldridge is safe, but that is wrong. The reasonable doubt that is going to help prove that David Eldridge is guilty will be evidence like, how Mr. Armes was killed with a spatula which had fingerprints on it and had footprints around him when he was dead, they both seemed to be from David Eldridge. Then, David Eldridge was the only other person who had a key to the building and the safe combination of Mr. Armes. In addition, the prosecution has made the reasonable doubt sound like David Eldridge has for sure killed Mr. Armes. First, Mr. Armes was killed with a spatula, …show more content…

David Eldridge was seen going into the restaurant that Mr. Armes was in shortly before Mr. Armes was killed. An hour later, William Warden stated that he heard Mr.Armes screaming out of horror, after waiting a bit, he went inside and found Mr. Armes's dead body lying on the floor bleeding to death from the spatula. Although at first, the assumption was that Barbara Wheeler had killed Mr.Armes, but, later, investigators went through Barbara Wheeler’s house and did not find the recipe they were looking for or a spatula of some sort. This wasn’t the only time that David Eldridge’s prints were found. He also had his footprints in the grease that was on the floor around Mr. Armes's dead body at the time of the murder. David Eldridge was again, seen coming into the building 2 hours before the murder, again, he was the only one who had the key to open the building. Since David Eldridge was the only person besides Mr. Armes who had the key to open the building and had the combination to the safe, it had to have been him who stole the money and the Super Burger recipe in the safe and opened the building 2 hours before the murder, it has to have been David Eldridge. Lastly, of course, the defense is going to try and say that David Eldridge is safe and did nothing wrong, as well as accuse other innocent civilians that they committed the crime instead. This doesn’t make sense to me and is wrong because David Eldridge was the one that was seen going to the building Mr. Armes by many people at the time. When he went in, clearly all of his footprints and fingerprints were all over the crime scene. Also, when investigators went to Barabara Wheeler’s house, they found nothing of a recipe that was stolen. If David Eldridge was in the safe stealing all of the money, he also had to steal the recipe, too. When this happened, this could have easily led to Mr. Armes dying after all of this by David Eldridge, David Eldridge needs to get a horrible
