Sophie Bloomhuff 502 S. 5th St. Eldridge, IA 52748. May 9, 2024 Scott County Courthouse 400 W. 4th St. Davenport, IA 52801. Dear Jury Members: Mr. Eldridge should be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of murder. Although the defense claims he is not guilty, they are wrong because a witness saw David Eldridge at the crime before Mr. Armes was found dead shortly after screams were heard coming from the scene, Mr. Armes and Mr. Eldridge were the only people with access to the restaurant and combination to the safe and the Family Fun Restaurant had no sign of a break-in, also David Eldridge had the motive to kill Mr. Armes since the bank was going to repossess his house and Mr. Armes refused to give him a raise so Mr. Eld armes.
Williams went in, he found Mr. Arms dead on the floor. He was also able to do it because he was the only one there and he worked there so he knew where all the stuff was. Next, the Coroner found David Eldridge fingerprints on some of the stuff Mr. Arms was killed with. Mr. Arms lost a lot of blood and there was a large wound across his throat from a metal spatula.
David Eldridge had wanted a raise from Mr. Armes forever and never got one, which gives him the perfect incentive to do something insane. The prosecution is correct in this case. Mr. Eldridge killed Mr. Armes because reasonable evidence exists. The strongest piece of evidence for this case to prove that David Eldridge is guilty is that he stole a spatula and never gave it back to Mr. Arms, who was killed by a spatula.
This only proves that Mr. Eldridge had committed the crime because according to William Warden, Mr. Eldridge and Mr. Arms were the only two people to have keys to the establishment. If Mr. Eldridge hadn’t killed Mr. Arms, why were his fingerprints on the spatula? With Mr. Eldridge’s prints being at the scene, and there being no sign of a break-in, it leads me to believe that he is the one responsible for Mr. Arms’s death. The next reason that Mr. Eldridge is guilty of Mr. Arms' murder is that he has a motive and the motive is that Mr. Eldridge had asked for a raise because his house was getting repossessed and he was in desperate need of money but was denied, leaving him to be upset. According to Mrs. Sandy Smith, Mr. David Eldridge had asked for a raise from Mr. Arms but was denied.
Prosecutor: Hunter O’Hotto Case Number: 102938 Objective: Provide convincing evidence that Gene is guilty of second-degree manslaughter in the death of Phineas. Gene is guilty of second-degree manslaughter for the death of Phineas, which means his death could have been voluntary or involuntary. I believe, as should the rest of you in the court, that Gene is guilty of involuntary manslaughter of Phineas, his best friend, and it is proven with a surplus of evidence. This evidence includes: Gene’s actions leading up to Finny’s first fall, which inevitably lead to his death, and Gene’s thoughts after Finny’s death.
David Eldridge has many pieces of evidence to prove he's guilty such as he owned a key to get into the building, he arrived at the building 2 hours before the death, he asked for a raise then Mr. Armes disagreed to giving him a raise that made David Angry, and there's proof that Barbra Wheeler didn't kill Mr. Armes. The strongest piece of evidence in this case was that he was angry at Mr. Armes since the morning of the murder, he asked for a raise and
OJ Simpson and Lizzie Borden Verdict How would you feel knowing that two ruthless murders were walking your town's streets, at your local stores, waving at your children, and talking to your loved ones? It wouldn’t feel pleasant, would it? That’s why Lizzie Borden and Oj Simpson need to be locked up.
That’s why David Eldridge told Mr. Armes when Mr. Armes told David that he couldn’t get a raise for David’s job. That’s why David Eldridge should be guilty of the murder of Mr. Armes. That’s because the evidence to support that my evidence proving David Eldridge murdered Mr. Armes is truly strong. The first piece of evidence is that David wanted to get revenge after all the time he begged for a raise from Mr. Armes. David didn’t get a raise, so Mr. Eldridge killed Mr. Armes.
Should someone be convicted of murder even if they did it to protect themselves and their friends or should they remain guilty? In the fictional novel The Outsiders written by S.E. Hinton there are two main rival gangs, The Socs and The Greasers. One night Johnny Cade and Ponyboy Curtis were at a park Far East and the socs came and they fought. While they were fighting Johnny took a 6 inch switchblade and stabbed Bob in the back. This resulted o in the death of Bob.
Dear Jury Members: In my opinion, David Eldiridge should be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of murder. Although the defense claims that he is innocent of this crime, they are incorrect because Eldridge had motive to kill Mr. Armes, there was no sign of a break-in, but all the money was gone and he had the key, and lastly, a witness had placed him at the scene near the time of the murder and his footprints were all around the body. First, David Eldridge had the motive to kill Mr. Armes because he was very angry after Mr. Armes hadn’t given him a raise and he needed money because the bank was going to repossess his house, so he could have stolen the recipe and robbed him to get the money. David was the only one that could get into the restaurant and rob Mr. Armes since he has the keys and the combo to the safe.
Myths come from cultures all around the world that are unique to their geographical region and people. However, many of these unique myths, from thousands of miles apart and from different times, have striking similarities. One such case that is interesting to look at are specific deities from Greek and Norse mythology. While Prometheus from Greek mythology gifted fire to mankind, Loki from Norse mythology stole fire, yet they still conduct themselves in similar manners. Their actions pertaining fire had an effect on their people and mankind.
David spent most of his time taking photos, he saw it as his secret so much so that he wanted to have his own space for him and his photos: “David went to the mini refrigerator where he kept his chemicals and film. The envelope was tucked far in the back, behind several bottles. It was full of twenty dollar bills, new crisp and
His Father was the first victim, found in his bedroom beaten by an axe that was later found in the basement of the house. A friend of David's was the first one to know of his crimes and was asked to skip school with him the same day while David shared details of the murder. "I hit my dad with the axe, and kept hitting him until he didn't
. Christie’s detective world is very much a product of the post World War I ‘modernist’ cynicism which also rendered in humans, a sense of introspection. As Poirot says, “It is the brain, the little grey cells on which one must rely. One must seek the truth within, not without.”
