“Cure Brain Cancer Foundation TV Ad” Brain cancer can happen to anyone. The cure cancer ad was published by the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. This foundation is the largest dedicated funder of brain cancer research in Australia; which was founded by Charlie Teo, who originally named the foundation “Cure for Life.” The foundation published an ad in 2014 about young children fighting against brain cancer. This ad shows a young boy on a surgery table surrounded by other young children preforming “surgery” on him. The voice in the background of the ad states, “Brain cancer kills more children than any other disease, don’t let them fight it alone, donate now.” In this ad you can see by the facial expressions the child is scared that he is getting …show more content…

For example, the viewers can feel sorrowful, heartbroken, or disillusioned. Seeing young children with brain cancer can be one of the things that bring tears into your eyes. Just thinking about how they are fighting this battle against cancer even if it’s for a couple of days longer. You can start to feel sorrow, heartbroken, or even disillusioned by the ad because you know that a child with brain cancer at a young age still has a long life to live. Teo stated, “Brain cancer kills more children than any other disease, yet a staggering 90 per cent of Australians are completely unaware of this.” There are kids that think they are fighting this alone but you should let them know they are not. It is for everyone out there in the world not aware of what’s going on with these children. Everything that they go through can affect how they see themselves. Cure brain cancer is an ad that makes you want to take action and support the foundation and the miracles that they can provide for these children. Letting others know what they can do for a chance is helpful for this kids that find out that they will be able to survive a bit longer and to hold on to their strength for what’s next to come.
