Did you know that 40.6% of female adolescents have been cyberbullied? And 28.8% of men have? Cyberbullying is very dangerous. Cyberbullying is more commonly found in highschool or teenage years. Cyberbullying can really impact a life;, it can even cause one to end their life because of how the words make them feel. Cyberbullying is a serious issue and should be handled way better if proven true. For example, if someone is being cyberbullied and has proof, have proof. The bully should get in trouble, not just talked to because they will continue to do it. The issue of cyberbullying is a big deal and should be handled better in schools.

Cyberbullying is a very big issue. Cyberbullying has resulted in the suicide of more than one child. A 12 year old girl was “terrorized” by 15 girls. They were harassing her and repeated frightening threats. When a student feels they have to end their life because of what people are saying online to him or her, it’s obviously very serious. If things were handled in a better manner, it could save lives. Kids don’t learn their lesson just from getting talked to. This study was done at a high school for 9-12th graders. The research also showed that 5.6% of females spread rumors everyday about others online. 15.3% of females have had a mean or harmful thing posted or said about them online. There has been a book written named Don’t be a bystander by Emily Bazelon. The book is about how you can take action and if someone is being bullied or cyberbullied, and help them out.
