A Single Story Can Damage Society and Open Your mind Being exposed to one single story make people to judge other without know them. People use to stereotypes based on the single story that the hear about an individual or group of people. There are occasions in which there is only a single story that can make human being learn the reality. However, a single story can damage society, but in the other hand it can clarify unknown situations. A single story can damage society and change the point of view of the human being. After reading this quote I immediately started to think about all the untrue and incorrect thoughts that we have about someone else who we don’t take the time to know. We as human being used to say and believe what we have heard about someone, which is a big problem that is damaging society. Nowadays, people used to judge others based on the single story they have been hearing about that person, but they don’t take time to investigate and know the real story of the person they judge or believe something about them. We must learn to investigate and hear all the story of a group of people or an individual, because it can cause serious problem. People who believe and affirm the single history of a group of person or individual can have the wrong and negative story of that group of people or single person, which means that people will believe and affirm the horrible side of the story, not just the horrible but the untrue story, only because we do not search about the situation of the group or the individual.
