Name: Terry v. Ohio 392 US1 Supreme Court 1968 Facts: The incident occurred on October 31st 1963 at approximately 2:30pm in the afternoon. The police officer who was dressed in plain clothes was attracted by Terry and Chilton who were casing a store. With 30 years of prior experience in the area. The officer knew casing when he saw it. He had been assigned to that area specifically in search for shoplifters and pick pockets.
Stark noticed the Officer Safety issue with interviewing the Victim in front of the door, and asked him to move to the side away from the flow of pedestrian traffic. Stark spoke with the Officer that had responded prior to our arrival and got the information that the Officer had already obtained. Stark re-interviewed the Victim, and come to the conclusion that the crime elements of PC211 were not met. I asked Stark what he believed the crime was, he stated PC 484 - petty theft. Stark gave the Victim a business card with the report number.
On October 09th, 2015 at approximately 5:30 PM, I, Investigator James Poffel was the on-call investigator and was contacted by dispatch in reference to responding to The Days Inn for a call of a kidnapping that patrol officers were out on. Officer Wilkins was the officer originally dispatched to t hat location and was on-scene awaiting my arrival. I spoke with Officer Wilkins while I was en route to his location. Officer Wilkins informed me they were sent to The Days Inn, room #104, at 900 S 32nd St to check the welfare of a subject by the name of Kayla Blevins. Dispatch received the call from Kayla’s grandmother, advising Kayla was being held at that location against her will, for a $1,000.00 ransom.
Howard County’s led officers into Prince George’s County, in part, due to information obtained from a search warrant. A global position system affixed to one of the defendant’s vehicles, and information gleaned from tracking one of the defendant’s cell phones led Howard County officers to the warehouse. Notably, the specific details involving Howard County’s investigation of Snowden and Caldwell were suppressed, but the State was permitted to elicit testimony indicating that Howard County officers were in Prince George’s County for an investigation. That evening, Detective Puglise was disguised as an electrician in a bucket truck. Detective Puglise testified that he observed Caldwell driving the blue Toyota Camry drive into a parking lot and position itself near a white box truck for approximately three minutes and then drive away.
ON 05/01/2017 at approximately 1000 hours, Deputy Thacker and I, received a call from dispatch that the person living a t 7400 quail court, Tarrant County Tx, was tapping into the water line of their neighbors house at 7412 quail court, Tarrant County Tx. At approximately 1020 hours, Myself and Deputy Thacker arrived at 7412 quail court, I made contact with the owner Mrs. Rachel Gilliam. Mrs. Gilliam explained to me that she noticed an external hose connected to her water meter that was leading to 7400 quail court. I investigated the water meter belonging to 7412 quail court and saw that their was a hose connected into the water line that belong to 7412 quail court. I made contact with the owner of 7400 quail court, Brown, James (W/M, DOB 01/29/1989).
On 5/23/2018, I was dispatched and responded to 5541 Bay Blvd Apartment #302 (Royal Richey Apartments) reference to a disturbance. After investigating the report it was determined that on this date the defendant (Lawrence Mrachek) packed and placed his live in girlfriend’s property near the front door of the shared apartment. On this date the defendants girlfriend/ victim #1 (Angela Hickey) arrived home with her friends (Witness #1: Stefanie Van Horn, Witness#2: Michael McCollum, victim #2:
On 03-07-16 at about 1839 hours, Officer Saunders #7720 and I responded to 610 N. Oakland Avenue #5 for a battery with great bodily injury investigation. Upon our arrival we met with Victim Raun Gibson who stated his daughter, Suspect Lanaye Gibson hit him several times across his face and bite him on his right forearm. Victim Gibson sustained two bite marks across his right forearm as a result of Suspect Gibson bitting him. I saw that Victim Gibson sustained two bite marks across his upper right forearm. Officer Saunders and I arrested Suspect Gibson for PC 243(d)-Battery with great bodily injury.
On 10-03-2016 at approximately 0950 hours, I Security Officer James Argyro made contact with a male now know to me as Anderson Oberman DOB 03-02-77, who was walking around the gaming floor not actively playing any machines for no less then 20 minutes. I made contact with Oberman and informed him that he was being asked to leave for loitering and who need to leave all Tulalip gaming properties for no less then 24 hours. Oberman left out the south east doors. JOB KNOWLEDGE Search Warrant Planning & Procedures Officer Penrose has been a member of the Red Team since October of 2015. He has learned what is expected and required in regards to this area of the assignment. Officer Penrose has planned 24 search warrant operations during this rating period. He is familiar with what is needed in a search warrant entry plan and what areas are likely to cause problems or concerns. Officer Penrose plans for most of these problem areas and informs me of them during his planning phase.
This supplement is a record of my actions in this investigation. On October 20, 2015, I was assigned this case to follow up. This investigation involves Mr. Kyree Dobyns a seventeen year old city resident. I contacted the Court Services Unit and spoke to Mr. Don Earlington.
On 04/14/17, at 4:30pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to the area of Carnation Drive and Blue Bonnett Drive on an injury-possible dangerous or vicious dog to a minor. I arrived at the location and was met by dog owner Christine Belcher and Blendon Township Police Department (BTPD) Detective Sergeant E. Moynihan. I asked what happen, Ms. Belcher stated that her daughter Daisha Decree were walking their Rottweiler name Bolt when victim Victor Schuetz asked to pet the dog, Ms. Decree give permission. Mr. V Schuetz started petting Bolt on the underside of his neck and move to the top of his head where he was bit.
0n 06/30/16 at about 0134hrs Officers were dispatched to 5516 Peyton Place APT3 for a possible robbery and adduction. The victim of the robbery, Anthony Tolliver stated he was sitting inside his apartment and his roommate (Melanie Rhodes) came in the front door with an unknown black male behind her. Tolliver stated the unknown male was standing behind Rhodes and had one arm around Rhodes neck and was holding a knife with the other hand. Tolliver stated the male demanded money or he would kill Rhodes. Tolliver stated Rhodes was begging Tolliver to give the male the money.
INTRODUCTION: This incident involved the male suspect strangling the female victim with both hands; the victim and suspect are married and live together, in violation of PC 273.5-Domestic Battery. LOCATION DESRIPTION: The incident occurred in the master bedroom, the residence shared by the victim and suspect located at 920 Seco Street. INJURIES: Victim Gilbert • Sustained redness to her throat.
On Tuesday 03/15/2016 1752 hours I went to Shirley Luther's residence on Patton Road (Apaloosa Acres) to talk with Shirley Luther, in reference to this case. I told Luther I was Detective Wondra with the Barton County Sheriff Office and asked if she remembered me from other cases that I have been to her house on, Luther did not understand me. I asked Luther if she understood why I was here. Luther told me she suppose on account of those guys.
