The death penalty is a serious matter being debated in every state. Should there be a death penalty to these offenders? Should they not? Do two wrong make a right? In my opinion I do not believe we should allow the death penalty for juvenile offenders who commit a serious violet crime such as murder and gang related offensives. There are still some cases where the accuser turns out to be innocent so by doing this we will be putting innocent lives at risk. Many of these juveniles also are not fortunate enough to pay for good quality defenses, so if your defense is poor quality the chances of being sentenced to death are now higher. Everyone makes mistakes in life, no body is perfect and we have to accept that. We are bond to hit some cases we just slipped up on and made a mistake but innocent lives should not be at risk for this. We have other sources we can use to punish these young girls and boys. There have been cases where a young girl or boy has been sentenced to jail for many years and when they were released they were a completely different person. It could have been that they started believing more in god and read the bible daily, they realized the huge mistake that they made and changed their life forever, or it was just simply the wrong place at the wrong time so they vowed to be a different person. People fail to realize that these troubled juveniles go through the same thing drug addicts do. This is something they have to manage even after they get out of jail and with the right sources given to them, it is possible and they can change. If one person can change from coming out of jail, it is possible for anyone to achieve
