A famous actor Christopher Reeve once said, “A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to preserve and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” Being heroic does not always mean you’re special or well known. Since a hero shows determination, it drives them to help others and go beyond what’s expected of them. Heroes are people who go beyond expectations.
No matter who someone's hero is one thing stays the same. A hero is someone that has strived to help out of their own will. Anyone could be a hero. However not everyone is a hero. Being a hero takes courage.
“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.” (Joseph Campbell). Heroes dedicate their lives to contribute to the general welfare of society. Most of the time, the obstacle seems to big for them to handle, but they overcome it in the end. A hero can be anyone in the world.

Heroes in our society are revered and respected as Joseph Campbell reminds us: “A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself” (Joseph Campbell). Heroes exist in all societies and throughout history. Maybe they are not always on the news or from the movies, but their words and their actions never fail to resonate across their feats. Works of art can tell stories and speak to the audience. Analyzing small details leads viewers to dig deeper past the meaning and understand what messages the artist is trying to convey. William Hogarth’s The Harlot’s Progress (1732) is considered to be narrative art because it tells the story about the progression of a young lady who comes to the city from the country and lands up in the ring of prostitution. This is the first painting in the series of three painting that shows the young girl’s downfall and destruction.

Abortion Abortion is the deliberate termination of human pregnancy, most often performed in the first 28 weeks of pregnancy, but a fetus has a heart beat after 3 weeks, one day after fertilization is when the little heart starts to beat. If something has a heart beat it has a right to life and protection. A woman has the "right" to choose if her child lives or dies, but what about the baby? Doesn’t the baby get a say?

To me, a hero is someone who gives everything they have to assure the happiness of others and a hero is also someone who gives up his life or her life so someone else could live. In all honesty, a hero isn’t really what we think a “hero” is based on definitions and what the movies or even comic books have told us. Anyone can be
