Love can be defined differently depending on different types of people. To some people, love can be defined as a romantic relationship between a man and a woman. Love is a powerful universal force. Love is patient, kind, forgiving, enduring, does not envy and most importantly love should not cause so much pain. For others, love is a principle that should exist in marriages. For others, love exists in families between brothers and sisters or parents and their children. For some other people, love is a quality alongside with respect that should exist in all friendships. Neither of these people are wrong on how they define love. Love is a powerful universal force.
The love that a parent has for a child is also defined as love. This love is the strongest of them all because it comes naturally as the child is the offspring of the parent. For example, pets such as dogs and cats show love to their owners. A dog always wags it’s tail when the dog owner is around. This is interpreted as a sign of love for the owner. I have a friend who has a dog. Whenever I come to his house, his dog is always running and jiggling his tale around me. And I am also happy to see that dog every time I come visit my friend.
Love can also be defined as a source of strength.
