What is love? The definition of love is,”A profound tender, passionate affection for another person.” In an opinion of many, love is something that all living things have and need. In the novel Anthem by Ayn Rand, everyone has been changed and they do not know what is it like to love. But in Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut, they do have love and families.
Love is a basic, instinctive trait that all humans have the capacity to possess. Love can be defined as “a variety of different states and attitudes that can range from interpersonal affection to pleasure” (Wikipedia). The emotion of love can range from caring about one another as a good friend might to the love a mother has for her child which is a deep and immeasurable connection. However, others who view a loving relationship that two people have can get feelings of jealousy which can create a sense of instability or chaos in a controlled society.
Love is such an overused word in our society today. So many people say things like, I love pasta, I absolutely love your outfit. I will admit, I am just as guilty of this as anyone. But does anyone even know what love means anymore since we as a society have a warped and twisted sense of it? In John 3:16, a verse I’m sure we all know well says, “For God so LOVED the world that He gave His only Son, so that all who believe in Him may not perish, but have eternal life.”...
Everybody has felt it at once time or more, be it for a person, pet, or even a non- living object. And you know what that feeling is? Yea, that feeling is love. I have heard it since childhood, but nobody seems to have the same definition. Love is felt in different intensities; for someone it can change their whole life, but for the others, it’s just a little crush.
Love is the only thing humans in modern society work for anymore. I intend for my previous statement to be controversial out the butt and super broad. It is. It is also true. Even if you’re discerning the hieroglyphics in Egypt, you’re doing it for the love of Knowledge, Advancement, or for the love of all things Egyptian.
Yet love is just not about caring for a person, it could also be putting love and your feelings into something you deeply care about. Although love is an abstract concept it is made tangible by the acts people do for one another. Some of these acts include

Love is such a big word to define. It conveys various meanings to different people depending on the given situation and time. The world began because of love, and with that, God created us uniquely. Our parents trying their very best to provide our needs, to make us happy, and to mold us to become a better person someday, couples striving hard to keep the fire burning in their relationship, children giving back to their parents in various ways, a friend supporting his or her companions, and a nation succoring other nations all of these are expressions of love in different forms.

Love Book definition/examples: “The truth – that love is the ultimate and the highest goal to which man can aspire” (Frankl, 2006, p. 37). “Then I grasped the meaning of the greatest secret that human poetry and human thought and belief have to impart: The salvation of man is through love and in love. I understood how a man who has nothing left in this world still may know bliss, be it only for a brief moment, in the contemplation of his beloved. In a position of utter desolation, when man cannot express himself in positive action, when his only achievement may consist in enduring his sufferings in the right way – an honorable way – in such a position man can, through loving contemplation of the image he carries of his beloved, achieve fulfillment”
"Love is when your puppy licks your face even when you've left it alone all day. How beautiful, is not it? We can see that in order to define love, it would be to limit it too much, to do the greatest, the smallest. There is love of all kinds: from parents, siblings, friends, couples, love, etc ... However, until now many think nothing more in love as the feeling pink, when this same feeling can be the hardest to carry, even to situations already almost heroic.
"Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own"(Robert Heinlein). What even is love? Love is a force of nature. Love is bigger than anything. It cannot be destroyed or it was never there to begin with.
