Plagiarism
This essay is a descriptive essay. It will be talking about the definition of plagiarism, three different types of plagiarism, and also the consequences of doing the acting plagiarism.
First I would like to start off by saying plagiarism is another way of saying that you stole someones words, ideas, and work and turned it in as your own. "Plagiarism is the act of copying or stealing someone else's words or ideas and passing them off as your own work". (http://www.yourdictionary.com/plagiarism). Now I will like to tell you about three different types acts of plagiarism, and their consequences.
I would first like to talk about the first type which is clone. "Submitting another’s work, word-for-word, as one’s own".(http://www.plagiarism.org/plagiarism-101/types-of-plagiarism). An example of this type is one time I was trying to write a summary for a book report, and I did some research but I somehow ended up using the same words, as I read while doing my research and got caught doing plagiarism and I got a warning not to do it again, and after that I never did it again.

An example is I knew a friend that had to turn in a paper right then and there,all he did was looked up a paper that related to the subject, Ctrl-C onto word and put his name, the date on it and put a title on it then turned it in. He got caught and got a F, a referral and had to do the paper all over again in his own
