Success has so many different definitions and perspectives from people and that may or may not make sense. In order to become successful, change must occur. The people you hear about did not just magically get there, they tried hard and failed but, the thing that made them successful is getting back up and trying harder the next time until they are finally happy with the what they have accomplished. They became successful in a long period of time and they had to change so many things in their life, big parts of their life and little parts in their life. People should not feel better about themselves just because they are doing better than some people, be grateful for the opportunities and little the little things. Students have been taught to try to be the best in the class, in the honor role, have the highest GPA, or some even compare their grades to other people in their class. How are students supposed to feel good about themselves if they compare themselves to other people who may or may not learn as quickly as they do. Students need to change their idea that they want to be better than everybody else because they will never be happy and life is about being happy with the small things like food on the table, a roof over your head but most importantly, having an education. Becoming successful isn't easy and it won't be easy, but it's worth the struggle. people will root and cheer and not because they want to and are proud for the goals accomplished, but because doing something for others that does not benefit anybody but the least fortunate is more looked up to than having money and not doing anything to change the lives of others. Make changes in your life instead of being affected by them because the longer the wait the more obstacles are going to come, make things happen instead of waiting and hoping something happens to
