Success
Every individual has a different outlook on the definition of the word success. A wealthy person's definition of success may differ from a person's who is not wealthy. A college student's meaning of success would not only differ from a wealthy person, or a poor person, but also from a child's definition. The definition of success in the dictionary is, "a person or thing that has had success, as measured by attainment of goals, wealth, etc".(Dictionary.com, 2016). In other words, the true definition of success depends on the person and their situation and the goals they set for themselves. In this paper there will be scenarios from a child’s, teenager’s, and an adult’s person point of view.

In elementary school coming home with good conduct meant that a child has had a successful day without any dissatisfaction from the teacher. For a child that could be accepted as a successful day, but not so much for an adult. As a child matures getting good conduct becomes less important than it was before, because as an adult you are expected to already obtain good conduct. Having good conduct for the day as an adult could not be considered success like it would be for a kid because most adults should not act out. Teenagers who attend high school main focus tends to be graduating. Graduating from high school and moving on in life is a huge step for most teens. During the last year in high school is the most stressful, because if you fail a class you will not be able to graduate with your peers. At the end of the last semester if the teen has meet all the requirements they can walk the stage and graduate with their classmates.
