1. How would you describe their ability to coach? By the time that I supervised Maria, she voluntary took some leadership tasks, including coaching new employees, coaching them DHS Policies, branch’s procedures, and computer systems. I have noticed that she was able to understand and to adjust her approach to new employee learning styles. She also made copies of the most important cheat-sheets, so the new employee can use them as a reference in the future. One thing that I would like to remark is that Maria is very DHS Policy knowledgeable and has experience applying it, she will be a excellent fit to your team. 2. I have never knew of any communication issues with co-workers or supervisors. She is very clear and knows how to clearly articulate her thoughts and ideas, in both, speaking and in writing. Maria is a good listener as well. 4. Compared to the average employee, how would you describe their ability to learn new procedures, policies and tasks? Maria is a quick learner. By the time that I supervised Maria, I was able to follow her learning curve. Because she has a lot of DHS experience, learning new policies, procedures and takes is not an issue for her. I can say that because she is very DHS Policy knowledgeable, she understand that changes are an opportunity to improve our DHS services. 5. Please share your observations on their ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing demands. In many occasions, I was I have observed Maria responding calmly when she was under huge pressure. When I was her supervisor, I had to assign extra work to workers in order to meet deadlines and timely issues benefits. She always was able to take the extra work. She was very efficient organizing and prioritizing her case load. I do not remember any client complaining against Maria for not timely processing their applications or not returning
