Vegetables are essential to any diet, diabetic or otherwise. These provide an excellent source of fiber, minerals, and vitamins. Notably enough vegetables for your diet include cabbage, spinach, broccoli, green beans, carrots, tomatoes, and peppers. Fruits have vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Also includes carbohydrates, but take in moderation or small amount. According to your calorie count, you should take two or three fruits like mango, apples, bananas, fruit/veggie juice, grapefruit, raisins, and oranges daily.
