He gave Juliet the potion that made her go to sleep, and didn't tell Romeo or anyone else. Romeo found Juliet supposedly dead and killed himself with poison. Juliet woke up and found Romeo dead and then killed herself with a dagger. Friar Lawrence is the reason everyone is dead, because he is always reckless. There are many reasons why Friar Lawrence is reckless, but 1 I thought of was how he agreed to marry Romeo and Juliet even though Romeo was not truly in love.
I believe that Friar Lawrence could've cause the death of Romeo and Juliet. I blame Friar Lawrence because he had killed Juliet's cousin Tybalt but they had blamed Romeo for the death , so they locked Romeo up. Friar Lawrence could also be the killer because he wrote Romeo a note that wasn't inappropriate is was a bad not it wasn't nice at all.
Around 1594 Shakespeare wrote the romantic tragedy Romeo and Juliet. This story has an intricate plot line; the two lovers prevail from rivaling families, after falling in love they marry and intend to run away to live together. From thereafter a series of actions taken by a number of the characters leads to their deaths. Despite the Nurse helping Juliet on numerous occasions, Friar Lawrence was at fault because he didn’t succeed in telling Romeo about the details of Juliet’s plan, created the plans that causes their deaths, and married the couple.
Although Friar Laurence was just trying to help the couple, Friar Laurence’s misguided advice and impulsive decisions is what led to Romeo’s death. Many other characters contributed to Romeo’s death, it was Friar Laurence’s plan that primarily led to Romeo’s death. Firstly, Friar Laurence's decision to marry Romeo and Juliet in secret initiated a chain of events that ultimately led to their tragic end. In Act II, Scene 3, Romeo sought the Friar's help to marry Juliet, despite their families' enmity.
The tale of Romeo and Juliet ends with the death of the two lovers. But there is a reason behind their passing. Friar Lawrence, a priest in Verona, had a big part of the play, and may be the reason for Romeo and Juliet to lay still forever in their graves. The friar was the one that devised the plan to fake Juliet’s death, but ran away in cowardice when he was afraid.
Capulet and Friar Lawrence causes the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Capulet, Juliet’s father, has a lot to do with these tragedies. First, Capulet threatens Juliet by saying he will “disown” her if she does not marry Count Paris. Juliet feels as if she has no other choice other than to fake her death and plan to run away with Romeo. Then, Capulet can also stop the feud between the two families, but he leaves it, and that puts a lot of pressure on Romeo and Juliet because of their families fights.
Love resembles a fire, difficult to start, easy to set off, throughout Romeo and Juliet's journey, Friar Laurence is the water, setting off their love with the worst decisions he could possibly make. In The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare, occurs many different scenes portraying the story of two star-crossed lovers, hence the name, to their lamentable death. But throughout this whole play, Friar Laurence was easily the magnet for the most chaos between their love, making very unintelligent decisions that lead to their death. Although Friar Laurence seems very helpful, he easily proves to cause the most disorder causing the inevitable death of Romeo and Juliet. Friar Laurence admits countless times he couldn't help Romeo with his love affair, but the main problem was improper plan making, which lacks a large extent of time and thought.
At the end of the play Romeo and Juliet, Romeo drank poison which killed him and Juliet woke up to see Romeo dead next to her, after words she killed herself with a dagger. So who is to blame for the death of romeo and Juliet? I think Friar Laurence is to blame. This is because he gave Juliet the sleeping potion. He also failed to tell romeo about his plan.
Friar was only trying to bind the two families together and out of their feud, but honestly, he did not consider the risk factors. Friar Lawrence also gave Juliet the potion that did not kill her, but clearly played a key role in both the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. When she took the potion, she was out cold, no heartbeat or anything. Good potion, it worked and she woke up later. But Romeo actually thought Juliet was dead.

I believe that the Friar Laurence was what killed Romeo and Juliet. Friar Laurence was the cause of Romeo and Juliet death because even though he was trying to help. Friar Laurence was the cause of Romeo and Juliet’s death because the friar devised the plan to smuggle Juliet out of Verona, the friar gave Juliet the sleeping potion to make Juliet look dead to her family, so Juliet can get out of marrying Paris, and the friar didn’t inform Romeo of the plan to get Juliet out of Verona, which ultimately lead to Romeo acquiring a poison to later kill himself with that poison. The friar created the plan to smuggle Juliet out of Verona which lead to Romeo and Juliet death.
When a death occurs, people panic, actions are regretted, and mysteries are thought about throughout the day. Unfortunately, it is impossible to change anything, and the only choice is to cope with the loss. At times, people that look guilty are excused, but it's the least guilty looking people that may have been responsible for contributing to the death of a loved one. Romeo and Juliet is a play written by WIlliam Shakespeare who did an excellent job of proving that many different characters can be responsible in different ways for contributing to a death. So in the end, Romeo and Juliet may have been the ones that triggered each other to commit death due to their unique and intense situation, but Friar Lawrence allowed that situation to occur
Two lovers with one devastating story of how their love ended, this describes Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo & Juliet. In this play to young lovers fight to stay together, ultimately ending any chance they had of being together while they were alive, all caused by a single act from each of them. Even though Romeo and Juliet physically ended their own lives, the Nurse and character flaws should be responsible for their early deaths. Many people may have a counter example to my examples, so I have planned ahead to stop them in their tracks.
This provides deeper evidence that the Friar is responsible for his poor planning and irresponsibility based on his inability to make a plan. But, the plan takes a turn when the letter that was supposed to be sent to Romeo containing the details doesn’t make it to him, so he finds a poor apothecary to sell him a cheap poison to later drink and die next to Juliet’s tomb (5.1.35-end). This connects back to the Friar because of his insensitivity to take into account some of the problems that may come with the plan, resulting in Romeo committing a crime. Eluding the poison he’s buying, causes instant death upon drinking which shows how his actions resulted in Romeo thinking this will be the only way the two lovers end up with each other. So this takes us to Juliet’s tomb where
He was trained to be kind, responsible, and believe in humility, but one of the Friar’s biggest issues was his ego and his lack of following through. He thought that he was the only person smart enough to make peace between the two feuding houses. He thought that marrying Romeo and Juliet would automatically make peace and when it didn't, he makes up a plan that could had fixed the families and saved their children if he had executed it correctly. He was so pleased that he made a plan that seemed infallible, he sent away a letter to Romeo explaining his idea and not to worry if you hear about juliet dying because she is just under a sleeping potion, But He did say of the urgency of the letter to the deliver and it doesn't get sent in time. Meanwhile Juliet is alone in a tomb with nobody watching her, The Friar should had been there making sure she was safe.
