Did the Settlers take advantage of the Native Indians? When the Settlers arrived to America; their first settlement was complicated and a dangerous habitat. Neither of them expected what was to come when the Settlers came to America. They were hurtling each other in a violence that could end one of them. Squanto then introduced the Settlers to the Native Indians, to make a better relationship. The Settlers then became a member of the colony of the Americans. The Indians taught the Settlers how to hunt, and plant. They had a really good relations with each other, but not until most of the Indians died.
