The makah and the nez perce had totally different ways of living. The makah tribe of the coast and the nez perce tribe of the plateau interacted with their environment differently to provide food,shelter,and clothing for their people. Based on their location the makah and the nez perce have different ways of providing for their people. Well, today we are going to be talking about the similarities and differences of two different tribes. One coastal tribe is a coastal tribe called the Puyallup tribe and the other is a Plateau tribe called the Nez Perce tribe. Coastal people and Plateau people did many things differently when it came to hunting and getting their food, but they also had similarities. One thing that the Puyallup Plateau people did to obtain food for their people was they hunted on land and in rivers for salmon. Coastal people ate steelhead, heming, smelt, flounder, flatfish, lingcod, rockfish, halibut, and surgeon.

Choctaws are very interesting individuals that have great cultural influence in the southern United States. The earliest mention of the Choctaws was from the Spanish explorer, Hernando de Soto, around 1540 (“Choctaw Tribe”). Their unique customs have formed the history of Oklahoma and Mississippi. They continue sharing the tribal stories and spreading the legacy of the tribe. They are a member of the Five Civilized Tribes, in which they were the first to be removed from their homelands.

Kiowa Indian Transition Upon European Contact Despite their efforts to fight against the white settlers, The Kiowa Indians were not entirely successful in maintaining autonomy. Although they were able to exist as a tribe, the Kiowa ended up living on a reservation and shifting from their free life on the Southwestern Plains to limited reservation life, altered by the European settlers. The Indian Removal Act affected the land Americans had access to. It changed the culture of Native Americans tribes nearby and relocated them off their sacred land. Americans then took this opportunity to move West beyond the Appalachian Mountain and into the fertile land to start more farms that made the Us economy even better. This is because the main economy in the US at the time was agriculture.
Fahina Munaf Sheryl Ballard HIST 1301-0503 Iroquois Confederacy The Iroquois Confederacy consisted of five tribes Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, and Seneca in the state of New York. In the 1700s another tribe Tuscarora tribe became a part of Iroquois Confederacy and made it a league of six tribes. They were Native American people and used to practice Algonquian culture. Instead of sharing the same culture the five tribes got in fight with each other and it gave a chance to their neighboring tribe to attack them.
They exchanged many things, such as physical items and information, and cultural exchanges. These exchanges were everywhere, and there is no specific event or person involved. These contributions include the areas of agriculture, food, language, and also government. In the areas of agriculture, the Natives being skilled farmers, have taught valuable farming techniques to the early newcomers on many crops.

Well the Native Americans have or “The First Americans.” North America had people living in it long before the first explorers and settlers arrived. Unfortunately, they were pushed off of their land to make way for white settlers, who felt they had the right to own the land.
