Leadership Trait Questionnaire The Leadership Trait Questionnaire (LTQ) showed that I lack in self-confidence, self-assurance, and feel that I lack in insight. I show strength in determination, being outgoing, friendly, empathetic and sensitive, I rated myself as fours in these categories and a five in the outgoing category (Northouse, 2016). It is essential to show self-confidence and self-assurance when in a leadership position. Goal of this theory is to improve fulfillment and functioning of followers (Northouse, 2016). The Path-Goal Leadership Questionnaire I scored a 21 on the directive style, 24 on the supportive style, 24 on the participative style, and 20 on the achievement-oriented style. The common score for directive style is 23 and 18 is considered low. I fell in the middle of common and low for directive style. Directive leadership establishes standards, ensures rules are understood, and provides timeline for completion of tasks. The common score for supportive style is 28 and scores below 23 are low my score was one point from being a low score. Northouse (2016) states that supportive leadership entails being friendly, sociable, and are focus on follower’s needs. Participative style the common score is 21 and I received a 24, which is two points from a high score. I scored one point above the average score for achievement-oriented style. I scored in the moderately low range on the task portion and in the very high range for the relationship portion of the questionnaire. The relationship portion measures the extent of how one attempt to make coworkers feel comfortable with one another and within the group (Northouse, 2016).
