Distinguished Club Program Introduction I want to start off by asking these two questions: (1) Are your toastmaster’s goals inclusive of being a confident public speaker and strong leader? (2) Do you enjoy our club meetings? If the answers to these two questions are, YES! – Then, this presentation I am about to deliver will incite some level of confidence in you as we seek to maintain our President’s Distinguished Club status for this toastmaster’s year. At the end of this presentation, you will understand what the Distinguished Club Program (also known as the “DCP”) is, learn the importance and benefits of becoming Distinguished through club planning, goal-setting, goal achievement and recognition. Display the Distinguished Club Program and Club Success Plan manual and circulate it so members may review it. The DCP manual includes a planning document called the Club Success Plan that makes it easy for club to do all these things.
