Does learning about shakespeare matter in today's curriculum.William Shakespeare is a poet who writes poems mostly about being passionate. His poems were mostly sonnets. One of his most famous poems is Romeo & Juliet, where 2 young teenagers fall in love, and marry each other just to kill themselves in spite of their love for each other. I believe Shakespeare should still taught in the 9th grade curriculum because it teaches kids about love and how to tell if you're truly in love.Shakespeare is very passionate with his poems so they can touch young people's hearts.Shakespeare can impact someone's life with his poetry, and maybe kids might want to go into the poetry business because they want to be like Shakespeare. Shakespeare can change lives like how he did with inmates who were interested in doing his play.In a jail inmates performed live plays in front people, and were still able to make it back to jail by 9:00pm.They were able to forget about what they did and perform some of Shakespeare's poems,to intrigue others interest in shakespeare's poetry.Even today Shakespeare touches people's hearts with his passionate sonnets.Romeo and Juliet being his most famous poem it,as it tells of a young boy and girl who fall in love.
