He grew up in Grandville, Michigan, and now lives in Byron Center Michigan, during the warm months of the year, and in Mesa, Arizona during the cold months of the year. The reason I look up to him is because he is a good, kind, person. I also hope to someday be as good as him at disc golf, and as successful as him in school, and work. One of the pieces of advice he said to me was, “Study Hard.” When I look at my Great Grandpa, I see that he has a lot of personal responsibility. The reason that I say this is because, he always knows the right thing to do, and when. Like one time, when we were in Florida, my Great Grandma, my Mom, and my little brother (Logan) were going to go for a golf cart ride. As my Mom was grabbing her sunglasses, and my Great Grandma was walking around the front of the golf cart, without knowing what he was doing, Logan jumped into the front seat, and slammed on the gas. The golf cart hit my Great Grandma, only enough to push her to the ground. My Mom ran outside, and went straight to my Grandmother. At the same time, my Dad, Grandpa, and I heard the commotion and ran outside. Logan had started backing up as fast as a missile, in the golf cart, and was about to hit a house across the road. My Dad ran to stop Logan from hitting the other people’s house, as my Mom, and Grandpa tended to my Grandma, who was bleeding from a crack in her
