"Make America Great Again" is something I have been hearing and seeing plastered everywhere. Living in America, other countries believe our democratic system is based on the free will of the American citizen to choose who runs the country despite being allowed civil freedoms. However, due to the 2016 Presidential Debates, I have found great controversy in these imagined thoughts. I have taken to a quote said by Robert Byrne, “Democracy is being allowed to vote for the candidate you dislike least.” In this year’s election, that statement has given vile truth. Although for years that viewpoint has been the way we see our political candidates, it has really come to a head in this

After viewing his manners in his past debates, I have come to the point of visualizing him only by his non-empathic ignorance and misogynistic conduct. Upon reading two counter articles about Trump, the article written in his favor did in no way sway me. Christian professor Wayne Grudem in his article, Why Voting for Donald Trump is a Morally Good Choice, attempts to persuade voters and readers that Donald Trump is not only "fit for the highest office in the world, but also advances the idea that voting for Donald Trump is a “morally good choice” for Christians." As well as saying that his rankings are just that of a flawed, average man. I, firstly, understand and agree with Grudem by his claims that Trump is a flawed candidate; however, it does not hide his vicious behavior and attitudes to women and different races worldwide. " Christianity should not used as a hidden oppression device. I do not believe that Trump should have advocates using Jesus and biblical …show more content…
Donald Trump is in fact too cocky that instead Christians relating him to Jesus, he should be related to Napoleon Bonaparte in his overconfidence or maybe even Hitler. Despite the rage and rants, Trump seems to be more self concerned and important. Instead of putting that same effort he does into himself in the duties he wants to fulfill for America, he instead sits boisterously lapping in ego. Sometimes confidence can tend to go a little overboard. I believe Trump does not relate to average citizen of America. Most of us either in the working poor or middle class. Trump, however, has been wealthy his entire life with no experiences of a financial hardship or worries about where the next dollar is going to come from. Although bankruptcy and getting a loan from his father is probably the closest he has came to comparison of the average American, Trump still has the mind of a rich businessman whose pockets never empty and well never runs dry. Lastly, Trump may in fact be a racist. Trump has discussed how minorities cause the most crime and how America should make a pathway to enlist freedom for Europeans to come to America. I find faults with this because right below America is the country of Mexico. Trump does not want anything to do those below that border and I do not find
