America is the world’s superpower and as such, the whole world anticipates that the citizens will always make sensible decisions. The 2016 presidential elections particularly attracted attention from the rest of the world. The choice of America could therefore potentially affect other nations politically, economically, socially and even the military leadership. Most countries rely on America for their survival and hence were in a constant fear that the elections may change the dynamics of their stay or relationship with America.
Americans wanted a government that would not only cater for their political but also financial and economic needs. Hillary Clinton and her opponent Donald Trump had platforms that illustrated their forecasted goals and the direction they would both take America if they won the national election. Donald trump was focused on making America great again while Hillary Clinton aimed at enhancing prosperity and security in America. However, the initiatives that the two presidential candidates would adopt to implement the policies bring out the difference between them. The outgoing president Barrack Obama had desired to open up America for everyone but Donald trump wishes to deport the non-Americans. According to Donald Trump, the Immigrants take away chances that would otherwise be enjoyed by the Americans thus denying them a chance to prosper. Although America is a super power, it sure needs other countries to survive and it is, therefore, important that they are in good terms with other states. Looking at the president’s business acumen however and his success that has been built over time, it is obvious that he has the right skills that are needed to make America
