Finland, there school hours are short and homework load is light. Kids don’t start primary school until about the age of seven which Is way above the average age compared to the United States which is typically around the age of five. Finland does not waste time or money on standardized testing in the United States students are required to take multiple standardized tests throughout there years of schooling. “teachers in Finland spend an average of about 4 hours in the classroom.” (mic.com) this is two hours less than the United States giving students time to process and learn the information that was taught that day because not as much information is being crammed into their heads. Finally, the last example of a country with exemplary numbers of reduced stress is sweden, not only is there educational system free beginning in elementary school but throughout college as well. Sweden goes about education in a different way children start at the elementary level then move on to an “apprenticeship” which is where the kids go and experience different jobs and trades gaining their regular curriculum knowledge but also other professions such as a mechanic or hair dresser. Then they attend secondary school which is where they are leaning, math, sciences and different languages. Notice how diverse this country brings up their children. In Sweden, the funding for education is well spent and organized that primary and secondary school are all free, paid in full by the government making it easy for children to attend
