These drugs, especially if they were “crazily accessible”(51) should have been taken away by the government. It is indeed impossible to take away all the drugs in a community, but it was impossible for the government to have no knowledge of the issue, thus they should have worked harder to prohibit or lessen drug usage. In 1989, the first Drug Court was created in Miami-Dade County after the courts were fed up with the same offenders and the growing drug cases. A group of individuals employed with the justice system decided to look for a better method of trying drug offenses by forming a drug court division. The group of individual’s solution for the repeated offenses and offenders was to combine drug therapy treatment with the legal authority of the courts. As a team, the drug court concept was effective in c correcting the lifestyle and behaviors of drug offenders. With its success, Miami-Dade Drug court sparked an effective trend and sparked the formation of 492 Drug Courts in the United States and continues to influence justice systems.

On April 20 of this year I attended the drug court which is located in the Erie County Courthouse. The Drug Court is intended to promote healthy and law-abiding behavior for its participants. It acts as an alternative for jail and an individual is free to live in the community as long he or she participates in all services, along with being subject to random drug testing.

I sympathize for the kids no doubt, but the fact that they have entered the country illegally is unacceptable; for according to the rule of law, no person is above the law nor below it. According to the law, it is ILLEGAL to enter the United States without going through the process of naturalization.
There are two theories of drug court that not has been proven, but has led to further discussion on the topic. The participants in drug court are predominately Caucasians and African Americans. Drug court participants are made up of 62% Caucasians, 21% African American, 10% Hispanic or Latinos and 5% of other racial groups throughout the US. The first theory of drug court was based on research that drug court offenders are more likely to have positive results related to graduation and recidivism.

The adversity devised from the jobs that illegal immigrants have apprehended from US citizens is formidable. President Trump has promised that he will reform the immigration laws and following his presidential campaign promise, building a large wall that separates Mexico and The United States. Building the wall reassures the population that we are indeed safe, we are a powerful country and there is no free ride in the land of hope and possibility.
Time after time, immigrants, specifically Mexicans, have shown themselves to be a problem in America. They steal the jobs that should be going to real Americans and cause crime rates to rise. America can’t, and shouldn’t, allow this to happen. We are supposed to be the greatest country in the world, yet we are letting these criminals to walk all over our land, the land that we have fought for since we came here and invaded the natives. It is time we take charge of this monstrosity and make American great again.
Can we really see thousands of Americans die because they are so interested in trying a new drug? Drugs should really not be legalized anywhere around the world because it will depend on the type of drug people use, it will ruin their body, they can do so many things to people that they won’t be the same person anymore because of the drugs are taking over them. Nevertheless, the government should not go and make drugs legal because drugs is not the answer to anything and it’s not the answer to solving any problem. Here is why: Drugs can absolutely kill people.
It is very difficult to explain that drug addiction is a disease rather than a choice. Understanding drug addiction and why it happens will break the stigma of addiction. Society has associated the use of marijuana with drug addiction and with that it brings to mind negative things. Drugs users should be treated, not belittled for their use of drugs or having a drug addiction. Addiction is defined as a condition in which a person engages in use of a substance or in a behavior for which the rewarding effects provide a compelling incentive to repeatedly pursue the behavior despite detrimental consequences.
The government instead of being supporting this type of laws and trying to legalize drugs, should make an educational plan for youth and teens, and explain them what are the negative sides of using drugs. To increment plans against the use of tobacco and alcohol within minors, and to actually enforce the law of compsuntion, which is 18 in Mexico. Countries like US, actually enforce this law, and the compsuntion of alcohol and tobacco within minors is really really low. Another negative side effect of the legalization of drugs would be the increment of violence, because people who do not have money to buy drugs, would steal or kidnap people for money to spend it on drugs. Most of the violence in Mexico is due to the drug war, and if the drugs are legalized, the levels of violence would increase as well.
