The main bomber’s name was Timothy McVeigh, age 26, and he had a build up of anger against the US federal government, which led him to bombing the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Timothy McVeigh was one of the three people associated with this crime, the other two people were Terry Nichols, age 40 and Michael Fortier, age 26. Columbine. When I first heard the word, I didn’t think that much of it because I had no idea what it meant or how it affected so many people. It took one class period to learn that it was a high school, a crime scene, and an event that devastated the small town of Littleton, Colorado. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris. Sounded like two normal boys’ names and when I found out their involvements at the school I thought they were kind, involved, and popular.
In the words of Eric Harris, “All I want to do is kill and injure as many of you pricks as I can!”. According to this view, Eric’s mindset was focused on killing and injuring as many people as he possibly could, trying to do a great damage to the world. Because he had lonely life, maybe he wanted someone with by him. Also, he had psychology problems, and wanted someone to help his plans. The Columbine Shooting was an unforeseen tragic event that transpired on April 20, 1999. The shooting was labeled as a massacre that devastated not only the city of Columbine, but the state of Colorado and the whole nation. It is these types of tragic scenarios that make society question the security of the school, and the ease of obtaining guns in the United States. Two senior students, Eric Harris (18) and Dylan Klebold (17) found to be the only two perpetrators during the massacre.

In the months and years that followed this tragedy, discussions about public safety, the victims, and, most importantly, the killers ensued in the mass media. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, best friends and killers in the Columbine massacre, ended the lives of 13 people and changed the lives of countless others. When looking back on this tragedy, it is not difficult for people to realize that Eric Harris was clearly psychopathic.
