In the program, you have to write articles and every time I write one, I can see that I am improving and using larger vocabulary. Also, if I had been in the program longer, I would have been more prepared to run for New York State Dairy Princess. I did not have as much knowledge as the girls who have been in the program longer than me. If I had a do-over, I would have had more knowledge and would have known how the program would change me

There are many ways that a student can benefit by participating in the Honors College, from growth in academics to development in communication and networking skills. The Honors College is a program that has a diverse amount of resources which can help me achieve my goals as I enroll into the university. The Honors College will introduce me to many intelligent and motivated people which as a result
Does going to a 2 year college allow you to save money, rather going to a 4 year college? People tend to attend a 2 year college to either save money, better class sizes, or because of better teachers. Some people like to go to four year colleges to get out of their parents’ house, have the money to do so, or just want to do something new. 2 year colleges tend to give people, benefits like a small class that could help you with more personal questions with your professor. Which benefits you, because you’ll be able to get your answers for your homework or projects.
I first began hearing about the possibility of a gap year between high school and college when Malia Obama (Former President Obama’s daughter) announced that she would be taking a gap year before attending college. I have sense had many friends consider taking a gap year and some of them have gone for it. The study of the benefits of a gap year is very interesting because there are so many factors that play into a successful gap year. These factors include what you do on your gap year, how much of your gap year is academically focused, when you take your gap year (some people take a gap year once they have completed a few years of college or an undergraduate degree), and where you go. Other things that can contribute to whether or not a student takes a gap year can be socioeconomic status, vocational and professional plans, as well as GPA and standardized test scores.
I am also extremely dedicated to my education; therefore, I believe this course will provide me with the knowledge and experience I will use later on in order to accomplish my goals after High School. Throughout
I would like to be part of the Upward Bound Math and Science program because it could help me get to my future goals and take me to a successful path in life. This program could help me understand more in many lessons and new things I learn in math or science that could help me raise my grades and raise my skills in these 2 subjects. Upward Bound could also help my parents and I pay for college and know what career and college would be good fit for me. I would also be a great pleasure to be the first in my family to go off to college and having my parents being proud of what I could be doing in the future. I have searched many stories about this program and they have inspired me a lot because people who have been in this program have succeed
Student loans can be an okay thing, for some students that don 't have money and don 't want to wait to go to school they can get a loan. Some loans can be difficult to get paid back but it’s not something that is impossible. If you can get a scholarship and then what you have left to pay you can always get a student loan. Then get a job to work and pay off that loan. It may seem like a lot of work but the outcome is going to be worth all the hard work.
College is very expensive to attend. Just imagine the cost of living on campus with food and having to buy books to study with on top of all the other fees. If athletes and even academic students got paid for going to that particular school. Just that factor would help eliminate so many people from getting in financial difficulties over there time in college. Students that are attending a university expenses are going to be higher than a regular two year college.
This program membership will open new doors for me and make my high school and college experiences so much smoother. I think I will really benefit from having the college courses intermixed with my high school classes because I will be learning higher level information along with the high school work to challenge myself in Montco while having time in Pottstown High School to work on my electives. The program would keep me focused on
