Multitasking is used in everyday life, people use multitasking without even knowing it. The fact of the matter is that multitasking has both advantages and disadvantages. Which I agree with, the human mind should only focus on single though at time. Multitasking requires that we focus on multiple unrelated thoughts at the same time.

Many people believe that multitasking, commonly defined as doing two or more tasks at the same time, is one of the essential skills to master in this fast paced world. However, research has shown that this skill is actually a myth – the brain can only process one task at a time, so what we’re really doing when we are multitasking is switching from one task to another in rapid succession (Imbimbo, 2013). Even though it is common for people to read and listen to music or drive and talk on the phone, multitasking is not an activity that should be done. Doing multiple tasks simultaneously works the brain harder than normal, which can fatigue the body’s brain and then get less work done. Multitasking is also not very time effective. Both men and women struggle with the activity, but women can handle switching between multiple tasks better than men.
As the information age has come, people are getting more and more chances to do the multitude of things at once. The advent of new technology such as SNS or smartphone makes humans not be able to focus on one thing. Some say that multitasking had a positive effect on time management and ability to accomplish more in limited time. However, most people are concerned about the reality that multitasking actually decreases the degree of concentration for people. Especially for growing students, putting attention for a long time is getting much harder with these numerous distractions.
Multitasking is a way I survive and to be honest as possible I am a Master of multitasking. Multitasking is doing multiple things all at one time and to deal with more than one task at the same time. I am a Hard Core Multitasker that is not too bad I know Pro’s.
