The killing of Elizabeth Short, also known as “The Black Dahlia,” was a very calculated murder that over the years has had many theories as to who the killer was. Some people believe it was a psycho bellhop that worked at a hotel next to where Elizabeth lived, or a nightclub owner that Elizabeth was last seen speaking to before her death, some people even believe that their own father committed the crime. But the question still remains unanswered; we don’t know and might never know who killed Elizabeth Short. First, we need to start with some background info about this case. George Hodel was probably a genius back in the day scoring a 182 on an old I.Q test, not to mention but he was also a doctor, and was also considered a music prodigy.
