Elizabeth was reunited with her parents and family. She continued with her education by going back to high school, continued to college and reclaimed her life. Elizabeth is now an adult, a wife, and a mother of three children. Elizabeth has used her experience to help others to better the lives of other victims of abduction and rape. In April of 2003, Elizabeth was present when President George W. Bush signed the AMBER Alert into law. She has authored books, and she has been on a number of shows and news cast. She has spoken at numerous places to advocate for missing and exploited children and rape victims.
