One of the honorable persons included on this site was a governor, the first woman governor of Texas. This remarkable and historical woman was Miriam Amanda Wallace Ferguson. Her cemetry page was similar to an obituary. It is more thorough and well into to her history than a traditional obituary and is more of a mini biography.

Jaycee Dugard is a California native who went missing in the early 1990’s at the very young age of eleven. Dugard miraculously survived her abduction when she was rescued nearly twenty years after her kidnapping. In late 2009, Phillip and Nancy Garrido were arrested for the abduction of Dugard. Dugard’s rescue by authorities was unintentional. The Garrido’s were asked to come to a California police station after it was believed Phillip, a registered sex offender was accompanying two minors.
Harriet Tubman: Biography Harriet Tubman aka Araminta Ross was born a slave on the plantation. She was born in Dorchester County, Maryland on 1820. She successfully escaped slavery at age 29. Ms.Tubman was a civil rights activist. She freed hundreds of slaves to the North & was known as “Moses & General Tubman.”
At the young age of fourteen years old, Steven Truscott was wrongfully accused for the murder of his classmate, Lynne Harper. The evening of her death occurred on June 9, 1959. Steven was seen giving Lynne a ride home on his bicycle that evening. Lynne’s father reported her missing that night and she was found dead in a nearby wooded area, two days later. Harriet Tubman, originally Araminta Harriet Ross was an African American woman born into slavery in 1820. Her early life was harsh and full of brutal and savage slave practices by her masters. Eventually in 1849 she had escaped slavery but left her family behind. Later on she came back for them after becoming a conductor for the underground railroad and led them to the North where they would be free.
In April of 2003, Elizabeth was present when President George W. Bush signed the AMBER Alert into law. She has authored books, and she has been on a number of shows and news cast. She has spoken at numerous places to advocate for missing and exploited children and rape victims. Both of her parents, Ed and Lois Smart, pushed for the media to stay on the case of finding Elizabeth. They stayed focused on keeping the information about Elizabeth out there in multiple ways.

"Jane," is a romance fiction story written by Mary Roberts Rinehart. In this story, we come across a female protagonist who displays the characteristics of a typical woman during the War period. This story has been analyzed by different literary critics as they try to describe the different point of views this story can lead one to believing. Jane shows qualities that can lead one to believing that she is hysteric, thus creating the theme of hysteria in relation to the domestic sphere. In contrast to this, Jane eventually breaks off from these norms and goes against the concept of angel in the house.
One leader can change how a region, or group of people think, but many leaders can make an entire country question itself. A group called the abolitionist did just this. The abolitionist held many leaders such as Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln and many more. All of these people held specific qualities that set them apart as ideal leaders and spokespeople.
