Lessane, with the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office, responded to Yemassee Police Department, in the Yemassee area of Hampton County, in regards to an verbal assault between an Insurance Agent and the Mayor of Yemassee. Bobby Arnett, agent from All State stated he was threatened by the Mayor of Yemassee, Jerry Cook, when he attempted to go recover an vehicle from Jerry’s Used Cars. Mr. Arnett stated upon his arrival, Mr. Cook arrived at his business shortly after him and made verbal threats to kill him.

On April 26, 2017 members of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to United Medical Center to speak with the complainants Allen and Schatzman Complainant Allen reported to officers that she and Complainant Schatzman because of something that Complainant Allen posted on Facebook. Complainant Allen and Schatzman advised that they were punched about that face and body. Complainants Allen advised that the defendants were her neighbors Qyneshia and Francheska. On April 27, 2017 your affiant along with Detective Abdalla interviewed both complainants Allen and Schatzman at the Sixth District Station.

The risk level is based on the risk factors that contribute to an offender who can possibly re-offend. For high risk offenders an intensive intervention treatment would be put in place to lower the risk or to completely eliminate the risk altogether. Low risk offenders in most case will not get any treatment because the risk level to re-offend is very low, but resource will always be available if needed per request. In order to uphold the high standards of ethical conduct, many police officers are often bound to act and abide by the ethical responsibilities and procedures set forth in their departments honor code. When it comes to creating an honor code, police departments will normally abide by a similar code used by the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Even though, a city police department 's honor code may be a different level from the code used by the International Association of Chiefs of Police, there are many similarities and differences between the two entities.
Students in the criminal justice department are taught that our main objective in the justice system and our careers is to serve and also protect those involved in our community. For as long as I can remember, my goal in life has been to provide service by protecting and serving those who are close to me. My penchant for service is what eventually led me to the Criminal Justice program at Valdosta State University. This passion for service began at a very young age when my life was turned upside down when I relocated from Puerto Rico to the state of Georgia due to a tragic car accident that led to the end of my father’s life. Just as God appointed leaders for his people to guide them in the right direction so did we. Our police help enforce our laws, as part of the Executive branch, to the common people, with the mindset of keeping civilians safe and guided in the right direction.
In the police culture, there are certain specifications and criteria that have to be met in order to be accepted in law enforcement. Police officers put others lives before their own. They mainly focus on protecting people and property. Their job requires finding justice, maintaining order and keeping communities safe. Police culture can promote over-entitlement through the experiences, environments, and training of police officers.

The beginning of the criminal justice system of the United States goes all the way back when the United States still belonged to the Great Britain. Americans were under Great Britain laws and rules and most of the laws were unfair.
