During the course of English composition courses I have skilled a many of objectives that I once thought were impossible. I have not only developed as an author and a learner, but as a person as well. I have added the knowledge and self-confidence and it earnings to pace out into the world. During this semester, I was challenged with essay and a description along with smaller reading passages and writings. I recently understood that the skills you gain in English Composition, will be most valuable to me. Through this English class I learned how to read carefully, write a “text in context” essay, and how to write a thoughtful paper as well. At first I thought this was time consuming, boring and needless; but, I soon understood how much it improved my own writing. Simply listening to the recommendations and remarks made by my classmates, I progressively understood how helpful their insight truly was. We swapped between higher order concerns, such as: structure, organization, to lower order concerns, such as: grammar, MLA, punctuation, and sentence structure. I also learned in this class how to present my suggestion, ideas in a positive manner, addressing the problem or suggestion kindly. After each essay I had written, looking at the corrections made by my professor, I realized that there was so much work I have to do in order to improve my writing. I never actually understood or applied MLA format as much as I did this class. In reality I was required to read through my Rulebooks for apply the rules of MLA. I learned to reflect more descriptive adjectives for my writing because it attract to the reader more successfully. Before I took this class, I wrote in one precise manner, which I thought was my individual manner but now, I am able to use my manner to express my thoughts and ideas and presentable to
