The recent terrorist attacks on France were a true horror, as the bullets and bombs killed at least 129 people. It was a life-changing event for the people of France and America. ISIS destroyed parts of France and killed many innocent civilians. In James Mulaney’s article, “Enough with the French Flag Facebook logo,” he states that these previous terror acts were horrific, and adding a French flag watermark to your Facebook profile picture does not help any of the suffering people of France. I agree with his views on the topic, for the people of France need a tremendous amount of help during this horrific time. Many are sick, injured, or separated from their family. Simply adding three colors to your profile picture does nothing to help these people. It is an extreme disrespect to the French to sit around while they are in a time of need and crisis. Actions such as giving money or donating items to the people are much more important than making your Facebook picture red white and blue. The terrorists, though, will not evaporate, and they will not be scared off by cheap symbols.” ISIS is a powerful terrorist group that is feared worldwide.
