I believe by prioritizing intentional inclusion in my actions and lifestyle, I can achieve success in establishing a lasting legacy that promotes positivity and respect in the world I exist in. This is my belief in the truth. Intentional inclusion takes a proactive stance in the realm of DEIB, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. By being mindful and actively involved in the goals and concerns to genuinely acknowledge everyone, it establishes a space where all individuals can excel and showcase their true selves, fostering a sense of belonging. This organization actively promotes diversity and inclusion for women in the male-dominated industry, following ESG principles. ESG, which stands for environmental, social, and governance, is crucial for companies as it adds value and aids in risk management. ESG practices involve diversity and inclusion, fair compensation, ethical supply chain operations, carbon emissions reduction, and workplace safety. My organization has set deliberate goals for 2024 that are in line with ESG initiatives and can be reported on effectively, which encompass intentional inclusion practices. While furthering my education and taking a Diversity in Professional Settings course at the University of Cincinnati, I acquired insights into DEIB and its significance. I learned about the current and historical global initiatives aimed at acknowledging and appreciating individuals and their diverse experiences.
