Developing and embracing a culture of diversity is a shared direction towards inclusion in MAE. It comprises shared purpose and vision of the entire Miriam College community that fosters new meaning on diversity where learners regardless of their origin and background live harmoniously in an inclusive learning environment where they experience sense of belonging and self-worth, they are recognized and their rights are respected, and their needs are reasonably met to be able to gain knowledge and essential skills to live a life of dignity and self respect.

From the basic literacy program to ungraded elementary and 5-year high school, MAE transformed its academic programs to fit the new educational system.
MAE continuously serve the public by expanding its academic offerings such that various groups of learners are given opportunities for education. In SY 2012-2013, the school started to transition the regular high school to Junior High School (JHS) Grades 7 to 10, and continued to progress towards the implementation of Senior High School (SHS)-Technical Vocational track with Home Economics and Industrial Arts strands as areas of specialization in SY 2016-2017. Following the advocacy of the Maryknoll Sisters, the school responded to the call of the Department of Education for private education to support their learners for the SHS. Miriam College through MAE finally opened its doors to students from nearby public schools, particularly those in Marikina and Quezon City. This brought the school to create partnership with the Schools Division of Marikina City to be able to absorb their Grade 10 cohort for the
