There are more than 200 slang terms for marijuana. In particular, marijuana is often called by street names such as “blunt, “dope”, “weed”, “pot”, “grass”, “Mary Jane”, “chronic”, etc. Marijuana is a green brownish mixture of dried, shredded flowers and leaves of the hemp plant. This green flowering plant has been used across the world for centuries. It grows in many parts of world and is use for different reasons. In fact, during the times of Napoleon it was used as pain-relieving tool and calming effects. Contrary to historical use most citizens believe that marijuana is a dangerous drug. However, Canadian government could not ignore marijuana’s medical benefits, therefore it was legalized back in 2001.
