Can aggressive and violent behavior be attributed to violence in video games? For most young people, playing video games either on a computer or a handy device is just a regular routine in their daily lives. By time, gaming becomes an addiction and it interferes with the person’s relation with other people or their goals in life. An innocent and kind child can suddenly become aggressive and violent, as aggressive video games tend to cause anger issues and frustration.
Some people, especially the young ones that feel weak and find it challenging to make friends can easily interact with random gamers without the distress of face-to-face interactions. Overplaying games can have a very negative affect and contribute violent and aggressive behavior. It will not only influence in a person’s behavior, it can cause obesity, anti-social, sleep deprivation and more. There are many ways to solve this issue, by limiting the game play for example setting limits of time played. Rating and age restrictions should be taken more seriously.
