We explored a wide range of topics from social justice issues to environmental concerns, which allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the complexities and nuances present in society. The class discussions and readings exposed me to different perspectives, challenging my predetermined beliefs and biases. This newfound awareness has made me more empathetic, compassionate, and self-critical, qualities that I believe are essential for personal growth and positive social change. The literacy challenges within this class has allowed me to hold a higher level of comprehension in both AP Statistics and Biology.
