Rima Patel Professor: - Sherry GOVT-2306-73011 May 4, 2017 Ban on Fracking The Texas Constitutions have two types of government: Local government and the State government. Local government has no power have no autonomy in their own control while the state government has all the rights and also have their own autonomy. The State government is the part of federal system and the Local government is individual of the State. The State and Local government works together. They never have been separated from political. Some citizens are involved in Local politics and government.
The Local government has more ability to control the Local government and impact their own lives. The state and federal government take decisions for local government to take any actions. As local government has no rights so all the decision came from state and federal government. In the previous decades there was increase in fuel and oiled company but hydraulic fracking was caused in more cities and in towns. In last November, Texas people voted for ban of fracking. The bill of ban fracking was signed by the governor Grey Abbott. The House bill 40, the law passed by the Greg Abbott. 3 In November, Denton ban fracking in city limits. And today the state law had passed the law of banning fracking which helps to local communities and people in individual city areas. The similar law also has passed in Oklahoma. 2 It’s mentioned in the article public citizens that the city authorized code adopted to protect public health and safety in are just a pen stroke away from being invalid and Governor Abbott isn’t going to ban this bill, house bill 40.
