It's understandable why many people in America are still against gay marriage due to their religions and believe. It's also reasonable to feel shame when people see gay marriage taking place when you are against it. However, is it right to tell someone what they should do. Just because you feel uneasy about gay marriage doesn't mean that marriage should be stopped. People don't have right to interfere in others life even if those people are different from us. They are still called human being. Many people believe that gay marriage should be legal because of these reasons. Firstly, everyone should be treated equally. American is free country where everyone gets to make their own decision. America is also a country where everyone gets their choice. Normal people who wants to get married six times and more is legal but someone who had/have been in committed relationships for years is illegal and want to get married for once. Infact, gay marriage had been impact in our rate of divorce. Many people in America believe that gay marriage has been benefit. Gay marriage may be different from so called traditional wedding between male and female but they both have one thing in common. Both people love each their and their choices are same, wanting to live with someone they love. Finally, making gay marriage illegal is violating the first amendments of freedom. Supporters of gay marriage believe that gay couple/marriage should be given equal level of freedom. Gay marriage may be shameful to think for people but more than half of the Americans believe that gay marriage should be legal. Many people also believe that religions rules and commandments should not be used as an excuse to make gay marriage illegal. Everyone including homosexual people should be able to show their true feelings and be accepted like everyone
