Human trafficking common throughout the country Brazil.(Insight Crime and State.gov) In 2013, there were 254 reported cases of human trafficking, a 1500% increase from 2012. Brazil’s economic imbalances showed the conditions of human trafficking, since they were struggling economically. Some reports of human trafficking are sex trafficking and slave labor. These were known all around the country, involving men, women, and children.
