Legislations to inclusive practice. First things first what is inclusive practice? Inclusive practice is where all children and staff no matter their faith, culture, skin colour, language and abilities can all work together in a caring and professional atmosphere. To help this happen there have been frameworks set into place so that everyone can take part in the early year environment. These frameworks are based upon what are set and said by the Early Years Foundation Stage (E.Y.F.S) and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, (UNCRC), along with many other laws, policies and procedures. These are put into place so that all children are eligible and are able to enter any early year setting without having the trouble to fit into a scheme. These legislations are built up over time through different legal requirements as well as specific guidelines which will then end up after close inspection and debate turn into the policy and procedures that all nursery settings will follow to help protect and keep all children within the setting safe. This is all been acknowledge within early placements by belittling stereotyping, this has be concluded to allowing both boys and girls to have a mixture a ‘genderistic’ toys i.e. (dinosaurs are for boys and tea sets for girls but allowing girls to play with dinosaurs and boys to play with tea sets.) along with many different open activities and educational resources this will help eliminate any future discrimination but you as the early year practioner can also help a child to overcome any type of negativity by an positive re-enforcement which can be as simple as allowing the child to explore more freely and show that there is no reason why a certain gender cannot mix or dwell with
