In the social work class 202: Group and organizational behavior, we were expected to complete a group assignment in arranged groups by the professor. For the project a model agency was expected to be made from scratch, or branched off an existing agency. To complete this assignment to the extent asked by the professor, communication and organization were critical elements between group members. After finishing my project with my allotted group members, I can reflect to analyze roles and leadership aspects, communication between group members, challenges faced, the efficiency of meetings, and an overall assessment of my groups success. Olivia was always organized, delegating tasks, keeping us on track during group meetings, and overall inspiring us to get our tasks completed to the best of our ability. Furthermore, Olivia fulfilled the task of ‘information and opinion giver’ copiously. If discussion was taking place between group members, Olivia always had an opinion or fact to improve the discussion. Olivia filled this role so well, that we always had new and better ideas for our agency after discussing our ideas with her. Olivia also was a great ‘direction giver.’ She would delegate my group members and I tasks, and set a deadline on when to complete those tasks. This was especially helpful because sometimes my group members and I had a hard time deciding on who would complete what assignment. This was when Olivia stepped in and showed her role as ‘direction giver.’ Lastly, I would say that Olivia was an amazing ‘coordinator.’ There was a time when Anshika was delegated a task and she was having trouble completing it. Anshika had some many ideas that she couldn’t put into words what she wanted as an answer to the task. This is when Olivia stepped in. She pulled together various relationships between Anshikas ideas so that she could come up with an
