As human beings we often don’t realize that some of are actions can come with consequences that could change are lives forever. If you have a gun and you decide to pull the trigger at someone. There's no way of going back. No undo button. You shoot to kill. When you are driving a car your purpose is to drive to a location and arrive safely. If you pickup your phone while driving are you driving to arrive at a location safely. No you're risking the lives of others. A. R. Alliance is an organization created by Cady's parents to help kids know the safety of driving responsibly. The organization goes around talking to different high schools about keeping the roads safe. During the course of my interview I asked Mr. Reynolds what some advice for young teens learning to drive. He said “the girl that killed Cady didn’t ask if it was okay that she drove distracted with her cell phone, she didn't ask if it was okay to take Cady's life away because she was texting her mom.” She will never be able to say sorry to Cady. She will have to live with this for the rest of your life. She will never be able to take it back. Mr. Reynolds advice is like it would be about a gun, when driving a car it is your purpose. It's dangerous and if you text and drive you might as well hold a gun up and pull the trigger because everyone on the road is a target and once you pull the trigger there is no going back. It’s not okay for anyone to do it. Mr. Reynolds said it wasn’t very easy to confront the girl who hit Cady but wanted to make it very clear to the young girl that the family forgave her. He was honest with her and told the truth, he explained that she now has to live her life to the maximum. She’s no longer living one life but two, Cady's life she never got to have.
