Fifteen years ago no one had any idea that our country was going to be under attack. No one ever thought about losing their loved ones, or watching their own people being massacred on live television. Who was al-Qaeda? What American had herd of Osama bin Laden? Prior to September 11, 2001 these organizations did not pose a threat to the United States of America. 9/11 change the attitudes and concerns about the safety and surveillance of the United States of America. Hundreds of people died on this tragic day, the terrorists’ attacks of 9/11 affected the criminal justice agencies in many ways, and Homeland Security was built to fight terrorism, the vigilance of our country is stricter than ever. Therefore, very year that passes America remembers with great heartache the disastrous day of September 11th 2001. They remember the lives that were lost, including the children that were left orphaned because of the attacks. According to 9/11 Attacks (2010), the impact of the 9/11 attacks nearly killed 3,000 people America was under attack! On a Tuesday morning of September 11, 2001, at 8:45 a.m. an American Airlines Boeing 767 crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City.
