However, the fourth plane never finished out the task due to the passengers abroad taking out the pilot and causing the plane to crash in a nearby Pennsylvania field. All in all, the attack on September 11, 2001, became the world’s most tragic terrorist attack in the U.S. since the Oklahoma bombing. The 9/11 terrorist attack was led by Oasma bin Laden and his hatred for the U.S. after the war in Iraq. (4) The attack was thought to be behind the war in Iraq due to America launching the war without any support. Iraq and Afghanistan became a distraction from the U.S. during this period of time, showing the lack of support in the war.
